all和 both的用法與區別
all代表或修飾兩個以上的人或事物，或不可數的東西。可以做主語、表語、同位語和定語，台灣口譯。
例句：All of us like to eat potato chips.（作主語）
=We all like to eat potato cjips.（作同位語）
我們所有的人都喜懽吃薯條。
You have not eaten all (of) the bread.
你的面包沒有吃完。
both是指“兩者都……”；而all是指“三個或三個以上的人或物都……”，可以作主語、賓語、同位語和定語。注意它們的區別：
例句：They were all waiting outside the gate.
他們（三個以上）都在大門外等著。
They were both waiting outside the gate.
他們兩個都在大門外等著。
